We will miss the unique collection of art that River Rustic Gallery brought to Fredericksburg and the daily rapport with one of Fredericksburg's kindest and friendliest couples. Carlos and his wife, Carol, will be traveling across the country next year to attend art shows with his wonderful work. Please come and enjoy the fine art of Carlos Moseley!
"The Passing of the Alamo," by Dane Winslow Ellsworth, mixed media, 30" x 30". This is a stunning piece. The horse and rider pause in the spotlight for a moment in time while our great Texan icon and the passing cattle are washed in color, almost ghost like. Dane Ellsworth was inspired by the current debate over the future of the Alamo's surroundings and, like all great art, the piece creates an interest and a desire to learn more through the beauty and accuracy of Dane's depiction.
The wonderful Becky Rogers will be visiting with us tomorrow, Saturday the 18th! She is also bringing a sweet new bluebonnet painting in a small size that would be a gorgeous gift or great addition to your own collection. Please join us and visit with Becky and her beautiful work!
